Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation on TV. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. In no time, she moved to Texas and completed her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles on local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering that she loved acting. Then she moved to New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children, a daytime soap. Through the first half of 2000 she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first major series was on The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character was recognized with several nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, De La Garza was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor on CSI Miami. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory as well as being Italian by origin. Her family was a very traditional and spiritual one. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. Four of the four girls chosen out of over 1,000 hopefuls were Milano. Milano has appeared in TV ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as Jane Eyre, the American debut of Jane Eyre.
